The objective of this chapter is to list the most important International Standards applicable to SA, but this list may not be complete as new standards are created permanently. Therefore, no liability can be taken if this list is not complete. Reference is made to the versions of the standards, which are known at the time when this book has been written, but standards are living and may be updated from time to time. Therefore, if International Standards are applied, only the latest version should be used.
